On May 11, Chenzhou Stone Park officially opened to the public. Municipal Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Shou Jianzhong announced the opening of the park.

There are 1,600 pieces of rocks in the Stone Park, of which more than 140 pieces rocks over 10 tons, more than 60 kinds of rocks and more than 30 stone landscapes. The park is divided into three areas, the entrance area to mainly show the main stone, Mount Tai stone and cultural wall; 11 counties (cities, districts) display area to show characteristic stone and mineral crystals around Chenzhou, such as the Gold Alabaster from Jiahe, Hsianghualite from Linwu, Hibiscus Jade from Yongxing, etc; the city Ornamental Stone Precious Jade Association exhibition area to show Chenzhou and national garden stones, such as Mount Tai stone from Shandong, Lingbi stone from Anhui, fluorite from Guangdong, colorful stone from Henan, etc.

Walking in the stone park, everywhere is scenery. In the Guiyang Park, the diameter of copper coin shape in square floor is same as that of copper sculpture in Baoshan National Mine Park, showing the characteristics of Guiyang millennium mine; the cattle sharp is piled up with stones in Anren Park, showing the farming culture; Gold Alabaster and Blue and white stone are showing in Jiahe Park and use the green slabstone to pave the road, showing the characteristics of Jiahe.
