It was reported that an activity entitled of “one-thousand people’s cycling around Xihe river” was held in Beihu district on August 29, 2015. At 9:30am, more than 1000 cycling fans from 18 cycling clubs of the counties and districts of Chenzhou city gathered together in Nianxichong village of Xihe river landscape belt ( Beihu section). They started there and cycled till the end of Sanhe village of Huatang town. The total length for their journey was 27kms.

Though it was rainy day, all fans were still passionate to enjoy their trip. They aimed to create a living atmosphere of “low-carbon life, green travelling”, advocate the green traveling and low-carbon environment protection concept to the citizens, and try to promote the improvement of national fitness program and construction of civilized and beautiful new Beihu district.
