Recently, the "Jingwei Cup" balloon volleyball competition of the first Chenzhou Health System Workers' Games, sponsored by the Municipal Health Commission and hosted by the name of the Municipal Psychiatric Hospital, was held at Chenzhou Shengfeng Cultural and Sports Center to present the 70th anniversary of New China.

Li Yuehui, Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Health Trade Unions, presided over the opening ceremony. 21 teams from county, city and municipal (resident) medical and health units participated in the games.

The competition process fully showed the spirit of unity, cooperation, courage and initiative of the city's health system. With the joint efforts of all the referees and staff, after more than 60 contests in 2 days, Jiahe County team won the first prize, Linwu County, Anren County and the First People's Hospital team won the second prize, and the teams of the City Psychiatric Hospital, Zixing City, the Municipal Health Commission and the Second People's Hospital won the third prize.

At the closing ceremony, Zhou Weiping, President of the City Psychiatric Hospital, the host of the Games, passed the flag to He Yong, Vice President of the Affiliated Hospital of Xiangnan University, the host of the next Games. They sang "We Workers Have Power" to express their passion, looking forward to the coming of the next sports meeting. Xiao Ping, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, delivered a closing speech and declared the Games closed.

It was reported that from this year, an annual staff sports meeting of the city's health system will be held, adhering to the concept of "I exercise, I am healthy, I am happy", advocating the formation of fitness and healthy living habits among the cadres and workers, fully demonstrating a healthy and upward spiritual outlook, and further stimulating the enthusiasm of entrepreneurship to make new contributions to promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou's health undertakings.
