On May 19, Hu Yongzheng, Deputy Secretary of the Huangshi Municipal Committee of Hubei Province, led a team to investigate the organizational work of the China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo.

Hu Yongzheng and his delegation visited the exhibition pavilions of the CMGE and conducted point-to-point on-site exchanges to get a detailed understanding of the exhibition, security inspection, volunteer services and other aspects. According to reports, Huangshi City is rich in mineral resources, known as the "Jiangnan Treasure Basin". The China Conference on Geoscience Popularization and Mineral Expo held in Huangshi initiated a new model of geological and mineral science popularization.

During the subsequent symposium, the two sides held warm exchanges on investment promotion, security, publicity, operation and "Internet +" application. Hu Yongzheng said that the visit was a trip to emancipate the mind and acquire the "True Classic". Through on-site visits, we fully felt the vigor of Chenzhou's vigorous development and the spirit of entrepreneurship and provided a useful reference for Huangshi. This study visit to Chenzhou has strengthened the determination and confidence to hold the China (Huangshi) Conference on Geoscience Popularization and Mineral Expo well. Vice Mayor Zhou Hailin presided over the symposium and warmly welcomed the visiting delegation of Huangshi City. Chenzhou and Huangshi are not competitive relations, but cooperative relations.
