"Now, I declare the opening of the 8th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo!" On the morning of December 18, Vice Governor Chen Wenhao announced at the opening ceremony of the 8th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, delivered a speech. Peng Qiming, President of the China Mining Association, presided over the opening ceremony. Li Xianxing, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Government, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the opening ceremony.

The Expo is jointly sponsored by China Mining Federation and Chenzhou Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., with the theme of "Magic Mineral Crystal · Unique Silver", lasting for 5 days. At the opening ceremony, the CMGE Cloud, namely the Online CMGE, was launched, which adopted the form of "offline + online" double parallel and integrated interaction. The online exhibition and trading is mainly based on the "cloud" service comprehensive platform of CMGE. 20 VR panoramic special booths, 500 standard booths, 60 high-quality 3D exhibition pieces, and 5000 pieces of on-the-shelf trading products, including tourmaline, rhodochrosite, fluorite, malachite, natural gold, aragonite and other highly collectable products at home and abroad. Offline activities such as the Fine Exhibition of Mineral & Gem Street in Chenzhou Sports Center and Mining History & Culture Forum will be carried out to make this Expo a mineral gem exhibition with distinctive characteristics and integration of online and offline.

Yi Pengfei said Chenzhou strived to overcome the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, actively innovated the way of holding the event, integrated digital economy, and made use of CGME Cloud to give mineral gems new connotation, new culture and new value, and expand new opportunities and space for the development of mineral gemstone industry. In the future, Chenzhou will continue to explore the wisdom of holding exhibitions together with all parties concerned, strive to make the Expo better and better, continuously enhance brand influence, market competitiveness and industrial driving force, provide the largest stage, the best exhibition stand and the best platform for the exchange and cooperation between domestic and foreign mineral gem industry, and jointly create a better future for the mineral gem industry.

Yi Pengfei said that Chenzhou will actively adapt to the new requirements of the new development stage, implement the new development concept, implement the "three high and four new" strategic deployment of the Hunan provincial Party committee, vigorously implement the strategy of "new concept leading and sustainable development", spare no effort to create "one pole and four districts", actively integrate into the new development pattern, and provide broad investment opportunities and development space for domestic and foreign businessmen. At the opening ceremony, Jia Yueming, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Natural Sciences Museums, delivered a speech, and Brazilian ambassador to China Paul Valle made a video speech. Collectors from all over the world congratulated the Expo by video.
