On October 23, good news was uploaded from Hunan (golden autumn) Cultural Relics Expo: three cases of "red tourism development of half quilt story", "activities of Guiyang County Society donating money to repair ancient academies" and "protection and utilization of Liujialing murals in Guiyang County" were chosen as the top 100 cases of cultural relics protection, utilization, innovation and development in Hunan Province.
On September 16th, General Secretary Xi Jinping investigated in Shazhou Village in Rucheng civilized township, pointing out that the story of "half quilt" reflects China's Communists' initial heart and true colors, and we should use such red resources, tell red stories well, and do well in red education, so that they can be passed down from generation to generation.

On June 12, this year, Hunan Province launched the activity of selecting the top 100 cases of innovative development of cultural relics protection and utilization in Hunan Province, aiming to summarize and promote the good practices and experiences of the province's cultural relics protection and utilization since the 18th CPC National Congress, so as to better benefit the people and serve the economic and social development.
A total of 255 application cases were received from 81 cultural and museum units in the province, and 100 excellent cases were evaluated by experts organized by Hunan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics.
