On October 23, good news was uploaded from Hunan (golden autumn) Cultural Relics Expo: three cases of "red tourism development of half quilt story", "activities of Guiyang County Society donating money to repair ancient academies" and "protection and utilization of Liujialing murals in Guiyang County" were chosen as the top 100 cases of cultural relics protection, utilization, innovation and development in Hunan Province.

On September 16th, General Secretary Xi Jinping investigated in Shazhou Village in Rucheng civilized township, pointing out that the story of "half quilt" reflects China's Communists' initial heart and true colors, and we should use such red resources, tell red stories well, and do well in red education, so that they can be passed down from generation to generation.

Based on the case of red tourism development of quilt story, relying on the Central Red Army's Long March to break through the second blockade line, Rucheng former site group as the core, built a sandbank red tourism scenic spot, and integrated red culture, green ecology, ancient rural customs, characteristic fruits and other colorful resources, creating a collection of Party spirit education, clean government education, national defense education, patriotism education and red tourism Hunan business card as a whole.

Guiyang Xiangshan Academy

Guiyang Ancient Academy is rich in culture, and there are 7 ancient academies with complete structure. The restored ancient academies are not only the school teaching points, but also the tourist and cultural scenic spots.

In the case of Guiyang County Society Donating Money to Repair the Ancient Academy, the project of "protecting the ancient academy and spreading new ideas" focusing on the protection and repair of Xiangshan Academy, Chuanshan Academy and Fengjia Academy was carried out. All sectors of society in the county raised more than 6 million yuan to build academies and promote education, making the ancient academy a civilized beacon for spreading new ideas.

Liujialing Mural Exhibition Hall

Liujialing Mural Tomb is the largest, the most complete and the most abundant mural tomb in Northern Song Dynasty in Hunan Province, with high value of historical, artistic and scientific research.

On June 12, this year, Hunan Province launched the activity of selecting the top 100 cases of innovative development of cultural relics protection and utilization in Hunan Province, aiming to summarize and promote the good practices and experiences of the province's cultural relics protection and utilization since the 18th CPC National Congress, so as to better benefit the people and serve the economic and social development.

A total of 255 application cases were received from 81 cultural and museum units in the province, and 100 excellent cases were evaluated by experts organized by Hunan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics.
