On the afternoon of October 24, the second Nanling Tourism Development seminar, one of the series activities of Hunan (Autumn) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival, was held. Gao Yangxian, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and He Jianxiang, Deputy Mayor attended the event.

The seminar was divided into two stages. The discussion stage was presided over by Zhong Yongde, Dean of Tourism Institutions, Central South Forestry University of Science and Technology. Gao Yangxian communicated with Huang Jingbo, Dean of Economy and Management School, Xiangnan University, and Xu Hui, Executive Deputy General Manager of TopView Mangshan Scenic Spot, and discussed on the development of Nanling Tourism.

Gao Yangxian said that the purpose of planning and holding Nanling tourism development seminar was to gather the wisdom of all sectors of society, analyze and discuss the current situation and future of Nanling tourism, break the administrative division boundary together, and create a world-class tourism destination for tourists. He hoped to take this seminar as an opportunity and platform for more people to pay attention to and participate in the tourism development and protection of Nanling, so as to drive the regional economic development and industrial development of relevant provinces.

Huang Jingbo shared the unique geological conditions and cultural heritage of Nanling. He believed that Nanling tourism has a bright future and great potential and the tourism festival and development seminar will promote the development of Nanling tourism to a new level.

Xu Hui discussed the dialectical relationship between the protection and utilization of natural scenic resources. He said that a reasonable development of scenic spots is a proper "beauty" of natural scenic spots; an unreasonable development of scenic spots is a "face lifting" of natural scenic spots that "drink poison to quench thirst" and ignore consequences.

In the second stage of the seminar, Zhang Heqing - Dean of the School of Tourism of Guangzhou University, Zhong Yongde and other experts successively gave wonderful lectures to share their professional knowledge on the integration and development of culture and tourism in Nanling region, the culture of ethnic minorities, the crux of tourism development, and the cooperation and development of culture and tourism integration region.
