On the evening of November 4, 2019 Chenzhou Food Week and the launching ceremony of Chenzhou City's night economic development were held in Yuhou Street. Vice Mayor Zhou Hailin announced the launch of the event, and Huang Zesheng, Secretary General of the Municipal Government, attended the event.

This activity was sponsored by Chenzhou Municipal People's Government and organized by Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Suxian District People's Government and Chenzhou Radio and Television Station, which aimed to further promote the night economic development of our city and promote the night food with Chenzhou characteristics.

 At the scene of the activity, Chenzhou's special cuisines gathered together, bringing a new feast to the citizens of Chenzhou. More than 50 farms, farmhouses and restaurants participated in the on-site food evaluation of the 2019 Chenzhou Food Week and there were 5 competitions in total. Top chefs from all over the city gathered in Yuhou Street to cook Chenzhou special food. The judges scored and voted on the spot to chose the best food to conquer Chenzhou people.

After fierce competition, Jiang Xingeng, the chef from Sun Moon Lake, finally won the championship of Yuhou Street Food Competition Night.
