Recently, the Council of Rucheng County Cultural Center was formally established and held its first plenary meeting. The Charter of the Council of Rucheng County Cultural Center was deliberated and approved in principle. The first council president, executive director and secretary-general were elected and the appointment letters were issued to the Council members. 

The Council of Rucheng County Cultural Center is an organization that makes decisions and supervises the development strategy, public cultural service management and other related affairs of the cultural center, and formulates relevant articles of association according to law. Each term of the Council is 2 years. Through public recruitment and recommendation by relevant departments, 11 members of the first Council of Rucheng County Cultural Center were finally determined, respectively from the county cultural center and the society departments (education, enterprises, media, etc.), professional art associations and literary and art backbones of towns (streets).

After the meeting, the members of the Council will conscientiously perform their duties and responsibilities, assume the function of public cultural services, give advice on the development of cultural undertakings in Rucheng County, and provide more valuable opinions on the public welfare training of cultural centers, classification training of general and branch libraries, so as to jointly promote the construction of a high-level public cultural service system in Rucheng County, and constantly improve the sense of cultural acquisition and happiness of citizens.
