"There are many red cultural resources in Suxian District. Mao Zedong once inspected the peasant movement here and sowed the seeds of revolution; Zhu De and Chen Yi once lit the torch of southern Hunan uprising here." Recently, Liao Lihong, Director of Culture, tourism and Sports Bureau of Suxian District, Chenzhou City, introduced a batch of red projects in Suxian District to implement the spirit of the Red Army Long March theme park and the national red tourism plan in 14th Five-Year, in order to implement the spirit of General Secretary's important speech on inspection of Hunan.

Since 2016, Suxian District has started the establishment of national all-round tourism demonstration area, taking the development of the whole industry chain as the concept, promoting the construction of all-round tourism demonstration area in an all-round way.

Good landscape resources, human resources and geographical advantages are integrated into the advantages of economic development, forming a good situation in which the ideas are close to tourism, the funds are concentrated on tourism, and the talents are inclined to tourism. We should make concerted efforts to accelerate the establishment of the regional tourism demonstration area.

Focusing on the general strategy of "speeding up the construction of two vertical, two horizontal and two belts, and creating a beautiful Suxian City with mountains and rivers", and in accordance with the general idea of integrated development of "urban area, scenic area and park", Suxian District has constructed a "1558" overall tourism development framework and "theme towns", namely, a city leisure and comprehensive service center, Xishui River Ecological Rural Leisure Tourism Corridor, Feitian Mountain Tourism Culture Industrial Park and other "five corridors",, Xujiadong Hot Spring Resort Town, etc.

In recent years, Suxian District has invested more than 2 billion yuan to promote the construction of cultural tourism infrastructure. At present, Feitianshan Town has been chosen as the first batch of demonstration towns of industry town integration in China, and Chenzhou Changjuan has been chosen into the national preferred tourism projects and provincial key projects, showing a new picture of the whole area tourism.

In addition, Suxian District has also introduced a number of key tourism projects such as Xujiadong Hot Spring Resort Town and Wangxianling International RV Camp through precise investment promotion. More than 30 tourism projects have been implemented in the district, with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan.

In July this year, Suxian District introduced Hong Kong Junhui Holding Technology Group with an investment of 2 billion yuan to build the world's first cliff skyscraper, the Wangxianling Project, adding a new landmark to Chenzhou.

At the same time, Suxian District has focused on optimizing the layout of the whole industry chain, promoting "tourism + culture", "tourism + agriculture", "tourism + sports", "tourism + exhibition", "tourism + industry", etc., so as to drive the cluster development of upstream and downstream supporting industries, promote the transformation of single ticket economy into diversified industrial economy, and improve the comprehensive tourism benefits.

The number of tourists received and the growth rate of comprehensive tourism income of Suxian District have been maintained at more than 20 percent for five consecutive years. In the first three quarters of this year, Suxian District has also maintained a double-digit growth, and has been on the list of the most beautiful counties in China in 2018 and 2019.
