On the morning of January 27, the official water supply ceremony of the first 10 km of Mangshan reservoir right main canal was held in Linjiapai Village, Tiantang Town, Yizhang County. With the command of the scene, the staff opened the controller button, the sluice gate slowly opened, and the clear water rushed down the channel, marking the official opening of water in front of the right main channel of the key project of Mangshan reservoir irrigation area. This is another important achievement of Mangshan Reservoir construction after the impoundment of Mangshan Reservoir and grid connected power generation

It was understood that the total investment of key projects in Mangshan Reservoir irrigation area is 837 million yuan, including left and right main canals and five main branch canals. The designed irrigation area is 312000 mu. After the completion of the irrigation project, to the design level year, an average of 50000 tons of grain can be added every year, with an average annual irrigation benefit of 80.3 million yuan. The key projects in the irrigation area are in the first 50 kilometers of construction, with a total of 43 sub projects arranged to comprehensively promote the construction. Up to now, the construction of the first 10 km of the right main canal has been completed and passed the completion acceptance, which is qualified for water supply and operation.
