On March 17, hundreds of students from No. 16 Primary School of Rucheng County walked into the site  the story of "half a quilt" happened in Shazhou Yao Village, Wenming Yao Township, Rucheng County, and carried out the theme activity of "inheriting the red gene and taking the road of the Red Army again". They visited the "warmth of half a quilt" exhibition hall, watched the red film "half a quilt" and paid a visit to Xu Jiexiu's former residence.

"Through this red research trip, I feel that our good life is hard won." Huang Qing, grade 5, class 83, said that we should cherish our life and study hard and grow up to contribute a part to our motherland.

"When I visited the ‘warmth of half a quilt’ exhibition hall, I felt the true meaning of the sentence ‘some people die, but they are still alive.’" Li Zhongyuan, class 92, grade 4, said that precious photos and vivid scenes also help us better understand the heroes fighting for the light.

"In the future work, I want to drive more teachers to have a sincere heart of education, be a good gardener, and nurture flowers." Xie Tinghui, a counselor of the No 16 Primary School, said that young pioneers who train qualified socialist builders and successors should follow the example of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, never forget the original intention, cultivate educational feelings, bear in mind the mission, and inherit the red gene."

It was understood that the red research activity will last for one week, and more than 1000 students from grade one to grade six will participate in it in batches.
