Recently, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration released the dynamic monitoring results of national forest cities in 2019, and our city has successfully passed the review of national forest cities. According to the dynamic monitoring data of national forest cities, all 40 indicators of five categories of national forest cities in Chenzhou City have reached or exceeded the national evaluation standards, and the achievements of National Forest City Construction in Chenzhou City have been comprehensively consolidated and improved.

Since the successful establishment of the National Forest City in 2014, Chenzhou City has maintained a long-term mechanism of "no scattering of teams, no change of policies, no reduction of investment and no reduction of strength", and made every effort to promote the construction of "ecological Chenzhou". From 2014 to 2019, the city completed the afforestation of 1583,100 mu.

By the end of 2019, the city's forest coverage has increased from 65.0 perent in 2013 to 67.94 percent, the green coverage of urban built-up areas has increased from 44.30 percent in 2014 to 46.54 percent, the per capita park green area of urban built-up areas has increased from 11.5 square meters in 2014 to 13.44 square meters, and all indicators have been consolidated and improved on the basis of successful creation.
