22 TEUs of photovoltaic glass from Chenzhou Kibing Photovoltaic Glass Co., Ltd. will depart from the Chenzhou Land Port to Vietnam via Nansha Port by the Hunan-Guangdong-Africa rail-sea intermodal train.

This is the first export transaction of Hunan-Guangdong-Africa rail-sea intermodal transport after the Chinese New Year. The rail-sea intermodal train integrates railway and customs export, and after the goods are cleared in Chenzhou, they can be directly boarded at the port. In 2024, more than 100 Hunan-Guangdong-Africa rail-sea intermodal trains were launched from Chenzhou Land Port, with a cargo value of 200 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 28%.
In August 2024, Chenzhou Land Port launched the through bill of lading for the Nigeria-Chenzhou sea-rail intermodal transportation for the first time in Hunan Province.
In early January of this year, Chenzhou Land Port was honored for the institutional innovation of the new model of sea-rail intermodal transportation in China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The new model of through bill of lading for sea-rail intermodal transportation, which links railways, ports, and shipping companies, ensures that containers are not changed or opened throughout the entire process. Compared with traditional transportation modes, it greatly shortens transportation time, reduces comprehensive logistics costs, and ensures the safety of goods.
As of now, Chenzhou Land Port has opened 5 high-quality sea-rail intermodal routes with through bill of lading to Apapa Port and Onne Port in Nigeria, Mombasa Port in Kenya, Dar es Salaam Port in Tanzania, Yangon Port in Myanmar via Nansha Port.
