On May 27, 2013, a theme painting and calligraphy exhibition named Hunan provincial“follow the Party, celebrate 18th NPC”was held in Chenzhou Retired Cadres Office. More than 100 works were shown in the exhibition which attracted many visitors there.

It was learned that more than 100,000 old and young teenagers attended the creation activity of this exhibition. 8000 works were submitted to the organization committee of this show. Finally, 100 works were selected from those ones to attend the exhibition in Chenzhou. A calligraphy work among them was worked out by Tao Liuxian- the former president of Chenzhou Retired Cadres (Aged) Painting and Calligraphy Association. This exhibition would last for 4 days till May 30, 2013.

This event was organized by Chenzhou Retired Cadres Bureau and Chenzhou Retired Cadres (Aged) Painting and Calligraphy Association. Some honor guests were invited to attend the opening ceremony of this exhibition.
