A 4000-yuan award south Hunan folk house photography contest was organized by Chenzhou Working Committee of Conservation and Development of Historic Cultural City, Chenzhou Housing Bureau and Chenzhou Photographer Association recently. It called all people to take their most favorite photos of south Hunan folk houses and show to public.

It was introduced that this contest was purposely to further develop and protect south Hunan ancient village, assist Chenzhou city’s application of historic cultural city, promote the improvement of new urbanization and integration of urban and rural areas and present the great achievements of Chenzhou city in recent 20 years. This contest would be held in this May. Two awards as inheritance of ancient folk house award and bright award of new folk house. All the photographs should be based on Chenzhou city’s folk houses with the theme of “south folk houses”. Both the two awards were set three level prizes with 4000yuan, 3000yuan and 1000yuan bonus respectively.
