It was reported that the premier of large scale folk opera- “Sister gets married” was performed in Jiahe county on Oct. 27, 2014. Different kinds of folk songs of Jiahe county were shown in this opera which was with the theme of a love story. It did not just fully indicate Jiahe county’s features of folk songs and folk culture, but also advocate Chinese traditional morals as humility and harmony by the vivid drama and elegant music.
