On December 3, 2014, the State Council releases the forth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representativeness projects directory (153 projects in total) and national intangible cultural heritage representativeness projects directory-expand projects directory (153 projects in total). 19 items from Hunan province were enrolled into the directories, including 3 projects- Suxian legend, Linwu Nuo opera and Anren Ganfenshe from Chenzhou city which ranked the first place of Hunan province.

Till now, there are 7 national level, 14 Hunan provincial level and 74 Chenzhou municipal level intangible cultural heritage projects available in Chenzhou city.
