It was learned from 3rd China Hunan Embroidery Arts Festival & 5th Hunan Arts and Crafts Expo & 6th Hunan Arts and Crafts Contest that 36 items submitted by Chenzhou city were awarded with prizes, including 4 gold prizes, 9 silver prizes, and 15 bronze prizes. It set a new record for Chenzhou city.

All the 4 items awarded with gold prize presented the highest level of Chenzhou city’s current arts and crafts industry, which yielded unusually brilliant results there. “Whisper of autumn” which was made of Linwu Tongtian jade figured out a vivid autumn image, birds flying in the trees, to all the audience. Silver tea pot embedded with jade which was worked out by Yongxing Joint Silver Technology Co., Ltd. is an innovative craft made of local silver and jade resources. “Five children embrace grains” which was worked out by Hunan crafts master- Gu Lijun showed the great joy of people for the harvest. “Blue-and-white blessing mouse” which was delivered by Zhou Chuansheng- an up-and-coming youngster of crafts was highly praised by the judges and audience.

Yongxing Dabujiang patchwork embroidery was honored as “most beautiful rare craftsmanship of Hunan province”. Gu Jianbao- Director of Chenzhou Arts & Crafts Association and You Jiehui- Director of Chenzhou Jiehui Arts Co., Ltd were awarded with “Hunan arts and crafts prize for outstanding contribution”.
