Carton astronaut wearing space suit was delivering the gifts to students who answered the questions

“What is most important gas that mankind depends on for living?” “Who is the first male astronaut of China ever flied to the space?” “ ‘The first person of world space’ is a Chinese, who is he?” An interesting “aerospace science popularization lesson” was opened in Xiangnan Primary School of Chenzhou city on January 6, 2016.

Li Na- Director of Propaganda Department of Zhonghang Weiye Cultural Development Co., Ltd. gave the lesson to the students. She illustrated the secrets of the universe, space dream in ancient time and some knowledge of Chinese aerospace history with excellent texts and graphics. The Q&A activity on the class greatly motivated the children’s interest, especially when the carton astronaut delivered the gifts to students who answered the questions.

Though it was just one-hour class, many students were expired to dream of aerospace. Jiang Zhihao who is from Class 2, Grade 5 was impressed by the story of Wan Hu- the first person of world space. He said besides the knowledge of space, he also learned the courage from Wan Hu. He dreamed of flying to the space and learn more secrets of the space in future.

“I can quite feel the students’ interests on aerospace on the class,” Li Na said. The interactive Q&A activity set for the class was purposely to inform the children with knowledge of Chinese aerospace history, and inspire their innovative dream on aerospace.

It was learned that this “aerospace science popularization trip to school” is one of the sub-activities of Aerospace Exhibition which will be held on Chenzhou Convention & Exhibition Center on January 8, 2016. Till now, the activity was held in more than 40 primary and middle schools of Chenzhou city.

Furthermore, an essay and painting contest with the theme of “my dream of aerospace” will be held together with the exhibition. 6 winners of the contest will win the chance to visit Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
