The opening ceremony of China's "Root-seeking Journey" Summer Camp in Linwu County, was held. More than 50 campers and leaders from four continents, namely, the United States, Denmark, Cambodia and Congo, participated in the opening ceremony. 

At the opening ceremony, Gao Aiguo, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Chenzhou People's Congress, warmly welcomed the students and teachers from afar, briefly introduced the situation and customs of Chenzhou, and gave flags to "Root-seeking Journey" Summer Camp in Linwu County. He hoped that the campers could share what they saw and heard during their trip to Chenzhou with their relatives and friends abroad to become the enthusiastic dissemination of Chenzhou Fu culture, and a folk envoy for the promotion of Chenzhou's image.

"Chinese culture is inexhaustible motive force for the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the life and growth in nature unity. The broad and profound Chinese culture is the common soul of Chinese children at home and abroad." In his welcome speech, Yu Yuanjing, Party Secretary of the Chenzhou Overseas Chinese Federation, said that the "Root-seeking Journey" summer camp played a bridge and link role in promoting the excellent culture of the Chinese nation, deepening the understanding of Chinese culture among overseas Chinese youth, and enhancing the feelings of Chinese and hometown. It was hoped that the campers would have a close understanding of Linyi culture and Fudi culture and experience the local conditions and customs of Chenzhou through rich and colorful tours.

This summer camp lasts for 10 days. The main venue of the camp will be located in Linwu County, besides visiting Suxianling to learn about Fudi culture and Jujing culture. The campers in Linwu County will have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Chinese "Dragon Culture", "Jade Culture", "Ai Culture", "Ancient Road Culture", "Tea Culture", "Farm Culture", "Wushu Culture" and other cultures, and feel the long history and rich connotation of Chinese traditional culture, as well as the beauty of mountains and rivers and the prosperity of humanities in Linwu County for thousands of years.
