Main actors introduction of film "Ouyang Hai"

The film "Ouyang Hai" was launched in Guiyang County. After the shooting, it will be released nationwide synchronously during the National Day to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

The film "Ouyang Hai" will be co-produced by Hunan Public Film Media Center, Guiyang County Committee and County Government. The film revolves around a series of stories about the hero Ouyang Hai's growth, military participation and sacrifice, showing his short and glorious life in an all-round way.

The film crew will shoot scenes at Lianhuaping Farm, Huaijiang Village of Chonglingjiang Town and Meitang Village of Zhangshi Town in Guiyang County. The whole film lasts about 90 minutes.

Li Taiyanzi, the Director-in-chief of the film, introduced that it was their original intention to let more people know about Ouyang Hai, to learn Ouyang Hai's spirit of dedication and sacrifice, and to carry it forward.

Ouyang Hai is from Guiyang County, Hunan Province. In the winter of 1963, Ouyang Hai's army organized camping training and led the 7th class of the top soldiers to fight ahead. At the end of the training, the army marched in the rain along the established route. As it passed the railway track, the passenger train from Guangzhou to Wuhan whistled. The whistle made the horse break away from the reins and rush onto the railway with a gun rack across the middle. Ouyang Hai rushed onto the railway and pushed his horse as hard as he could to avoid a serious accident. However, he was only 23 years old at the time of his heroic sacrifice because of the ineffective rescue.

Ouyang Hai was awarded the honorary title of "Model of Loving People" by Guangzhou Military Command and marked the first-class achievements. In 2009, he was also honored as one of the "Top 100 People Who Moved China Since the Founding of New China".
