From March 18 to 19, 2019 Hunan Art Creation Conference was held in Chenzhou City. The conference conveyed and learned the main spirit of the National Art Creation Conference in 2019, summarized the provincial art creation work in 2018, arranged the deployment of the provincial art creation work in 2019, and exchanged experience.

The meeting emphasized that we should study Xi Jinping's literary and artistic thoughts in depth, keep pace with the times, adhere to the people-centered creative orientation, have the responsibility to engage in literary and artistic work, always bear in mind Bacon's responsibility to cast the soul, always bear in mind and shoulder the mission of raising the banner, gathering the people's hearts, educating new people, revitalizing culture and developing image, realize the great potential of artistic creation, create excellent works worthy of the times, and strive to create a new situation of prosperity and development of Hunan literature and art.

2019 is the beginning year for Hunan Province's cultural and tourism system to promote the integration of culture and tourism. In this context, how to take the road of art development? The meeting pointed out that we should strengthen industries, prosper undertakings and manage industries well, and actively explore the road of integration and development of culture and tourism with Hunan characteristics; should find out the foundation, find the right way and take steps, carry out all kinds of work around the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and launch a number of excellent works with Hunan characteristics; should open up new ideas, promote the brand image of cultural tourism with literary and artistic works, and lead the integration and innovation of literature and tourism with literary and artistic creation. In addition, we should strengthen the construction of artistic talents, support the hatching of artistic works, improve art exhibition facilities, and present our country's 70th birthday with outstanding achievements.
