On the afternoon of November 22, the youth forum hosted by the School of Literature and Journalism of Xiangnan University and the Youth League Committee of Xiangnan University was held in the ideological and political report hall. Wang Yuewen, a famous writer, was invited to give a lecture entitled "listening to the voice of literature - literary appreciation and creative experience" to the teachers and students of Xiangnan University.

More than 500 teachers and students of Xiangnan University listened to the lecture, which was presided over by Professor He Zelong, Vice President of Xiangnan University.

Before the lecture, Wang Yuewen had in-depth interaction with teachers and students of Xiangnan University. In the lecture, Wang Yuewen, taking famous works at home and abroad as an example, combined with his own creative experience, talked about three issues: literary fiction, literary language and literary themes. He analyzed the characteristics of fiction, demonstrated the importance of literary language, and emphasized that the theme of excellent literary works must be upward. The teachers and students listened to Mr. Wang Yuewen's speech.

This lecture further enhanced the students' understanding of literature, enhanced their enthusiasm and interest in writing, and broadened their in-depth thinking on the charm of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign literature.
