Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism released the revised list of "national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units". According to the latest list, there are 3154 national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units in China, 118 units in Hunan province and 7 projects in Chenzhou City.

In April this year, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized the inspection and adjustment of national intangible cultural heritage protection units nationwide. According to the inspection results, after the application of all regions, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism agreed to adjust and re-identify 793 protection units involved in the change of name, cancellation and functional adjustment, to rectify 14 unqualified protection units within a time limit, and to cancel the qualification of 38 unqualified protection units.

The 7 selected projects in our city include the folk literature of Suxian Legend, the traditional dance of Rucheng Xianghuolong, the traditional drama of Kunqu Opera, Nuo Opera in Linwu County, Hunan opera, the 24 solar terms of folk lunar calendar (Anren Ganchunshe), the Taige (Yizhang night story), which are distributed in the urban city, Suxian District, Guiyang County, Linwu County, Rucheng County, Anren County and Yizhang County.
