On December 8, the founding conference of Chenzhou Society of Music and Literature was held in Chenzhou International Hotel. At the conference, the "Regulations of Chenzhou Society of Music and Literature" was adopted, and the members of the Council and the leading group were elected.

 Li Qijian, a member of the Chinese Society of Music and Literature, Hunan Musicians Association, China Poetry Association and Hunan Writers Association, was elected as the president. Cao Mo was elected as the executive vice president, Li Guoding, Xiao Zhuo, He Junming, Chen Manyi, Xu Tangzhong, Deng Haihua and Liu Zhengmao were elected as the vice presidents, and Cao Mo, the executive vice president, was concurrently appointed as the secretary general.

It was understood that Chenzhou Society of Music and Literature is a professional group composed of our city's musicologists. The purpose of the society is to improve the art and theoretical level of our city's music and literature, to make a good bridge and link between the party and the government in the field of music and literature, to promote the development of our city's music and literature, and to contribute to the construction of a strong cultural city.

Li Qijian, President of Chenzhou Society of Music and Literature, said in a speech at the meeting that after the establishment of the society, they will improve the organizations of the society and build a high-quality leading group of the society; do a good job in training, and constantly improve the work quality and creative ability of music and literature creators; actively carry out various activities, strengthen the exploration of theory and practice, improve the creation and academic level of local music literature, create excellent works of music literature, and contribute to the inheritance, prosperity and development of Chenzhou music culture.
