At the event, traditional Chinese opera, instrument playing, and solo singing were staged, making the audience immersed in an artistic atmosphere. 

 

 

Among them, the original flower drum opera “A Pool of Clear Water” was highly praised by the audience for its humorous and witty expression. It portrays the life about Lei Deyuan, a farmer, against the backdrop of rural revitalization. He establishes a well-known express delivery company in a village. His wife asks him to inquire about the “live streaming sales” market when noticing the serious problem of unsold local specialties in their hometown. However, she gets jealous due to “a suit”, which induces a series of interesting incidents.

 

 

The opera focuses on the details of real life, depicts the new rural areas, and showcases the happy life of new farmers, injecting new vitality into opera works and providing beneficial cultural nourishment for rural revitalization in the new era.

 

 

The opera was created by Zixing Cultural Center, which participated in the third National Excellent Flower-drum Opera Performance and was included in the 2023 Hunan cultural and tourism fund support projects as well as the 2024 Hunan cultural and artistic creation support projects. It has been staged for more than 60 times for the people.
