On July 21, Chenzhou City held the third "Siqing Lake Cup" Science and Technology Sports Model Competition and the first "Red China, Red Boat" Model Competition for Primary and Middle School students.

It was reported that the "Red China, Red Boat" activity is a model competition developed by the Model Aircraft Center of the State Sports Administration, focusing on publicizing and passing on the Red Boat spirit through activities.It was understood that Chenzhou City is the first city (state) to hold the event. More than 200 students from various counties (cities and districts) participated in the competition, which was divided into 11 individual events, such as the South Lake red boat, unmanned aerial vehicle, paper folding aircraft landing ship and so on. The children will compete in the final of the Hunan National Fitness Competition in November.

"The 'Red China, Red Boat' activity is a new model project developed by the Model Aircraft Center of the State Sports Administration, which aims at developing patriotism education and cultivating the scientific innovation spirit of children through the combination with the spirit of the 19th National Congress." Chen Bixuan, Director of the Hunan Provincial Sports Model and Motor Boat Sports Management Center, said that Chenzhou City has had relatively good results since this project has been popularized throughout the province, so we have put the first competition in Chenzhou City, and then we will designate the project as a scientific and technological model project in Hunan Province.
