On December 3, the awarding and commendation conference of 2019 Hunan (Chenzhou) 5th Agricultural Products Expo was held, announcing the wonderful closing of this Expo.

After Organizing Committee's evaluation of 35 pavilions and 164 characteristic agricultural products, Beihu District theme exhibition hall was rated as the most popular exhibition hall, and 19 agricultural products such as Fucheng fragrant sticky rice, Fucheng Hehua fish rice and Jingtiao honey won the Gold Award, ranking first in the city.

The event was jointly sponsored by Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas, Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas and Chenzhou Municipal People's Government. Beihu District, as one of the three Xiangjiangyuan vegetable industry clusters in Hunan Province, has participated in this year's vegetable themed exhibition, including one theme pavilion, four special booths (enterprise pavilion), 54 standard booths, focusing on the promotion of six major vegetable bases, leading enterprises and the integration of vegetable production, supply and marketing in Beihu District.

Up to now, Beihu District has registered 9 leading enterprises in vegetable industry and 18 professional vegetable cooperatives. Last year, the area of vegetable replanting in the cluster was 129,500 mu, with a total output of 26,500 kg. In the "Xiangjiangyuan" vegetable brand promotion activity, a total of 10 vegetable enterprises in the city were authorized, including 2 enterprises in Beihu District.
