On September 20, 2012, it was learned from leadership conference for Chenzhou key industry projects preliminary work that in order to increase the force on the preliminary work of key industry projects, Chenzhou government established 7 leadership teams headed with municipal leaders. Each of the team will be in charge of a specified project to carry out the preliminary work accordingly.

The 7 projects are as follow: “5080 coal chemical industry” of Yizhang county, 0.4 million tons lead and zinc melting project of Hunan Yuteng non-ferrous Ltd., Co., Chenzhou thermal power project of Shenhua Group, 0.3 million tons cathode copper project of Hunan Baoshan non-ferrous Ltd., Co., relocation project of Chenzhou Tobacco, relocation project of Chenzhou Bada glass Ltd., Co., and coal mine construction project of Dengjiachong.

Except the relocation project of Chenzhou Tobacco should be started at the end of 2012 and placed to operation in 2015, all other 6 projects should be set up the projects before 2014 and started in 2015. It was requested on the conference that all the departments should work together on the key projects preliminary approval work and ensure all the work plan can be fulfilled on time.

Chenzhou municipal leaders- Shou Jianzhong, Chen Haiping, He Jianxiang, Duan Tailin, Xu Licheng and Yuan Jiayou attended this conference.
