On May 6,2012, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Mayor, addressed on the construction site that Chenzhou-Yongxing Road should be constructed to be the first class ecological scenery advenue in Hunan province.

Guided by the road standard of the first level, Chenzhou-Yongxing Road was designed to be with speed of 80km/h, roadbed of 24.5m, and planned investment of 1.02 billion yuan, which has caught the most eyeballs as a substantial project for the construction of “Chenzhou-Zixing-Guiyang & Chenzhou-Yongxing-Yizhang” town cluster to accelerate the improvement of Zixing and Yongxing.

Accompanied by Chenzhou Deputy Mayor-Shou Jianzhong and Chenzhou Government Secretary- Li Wuyi, Qu Hai inspected some key points of Chenzhou-Yongxing Road like Chenzhou non-ferrous industrial park, Suxian district and Zixing city.

In the section of Chenzhou non-ferrous industrial park, workers were busy with their work in the construction. The management administration director of the park-Liu Zhiwei introduced that in order to reach the effect of ecological scenery, this road section will be matched well with sands treatment and channels improvement, and connected with the new district construction of east cities. Qu Hai highly appraised their hardwork and asked that they need construct the project scientifically and fast on the basis of high quality control.

In the section of Suxian district, it was learned from its principals, Suxian district would work together with the creation of Sport City and Great Feitian Mountain Scenic Spot to build a “Green road” for the visitors to take a walk or bicycle on. Qu Hai addressed that the team should construct Chenzhou-Yongxing Road under high standards and show its ecological characteristics of the first class in Hunan province.

The section of Zixing city across Danxia landform area makes the construction even harder. After learning about the progress of the construction, Qu Hai emphasized that the team should enhance technology support to conquer difficulties and try to finish it with high quality.

During the trip, Qu Hai pointed out that from the start of Chenzhou-Yongxing Road construction, the high efficiency of relative departments guaranteed the well- processed projects to some extent, but there were still problems like imbalance of progress, big differences among set goals and etc. in the way, so that the team should follow the time schedule step by step to speed up the construction and insure the road opening at the end of 2013; the principals should intensify the responsibility to ensure its construction progress; the leaders should follow the project personally to strengthen its control; departments at all levels should further make clear responsibility, fulfil the mission, grasping task decomposition etc..
