On the morning of June 24, the plenary session of the women and children's Committee of the municipal government was held. The meeting summarized and reviewed the work of women and children in 2019, and arranged and deployed the work in 2020.

In 2019, there were 62900 rural and urban women of low-income security age in our city for free "two cancer" screening, and 31000 pregnant and lying in women free prenatal screening. A total of 2.142 million yuan of central and provincial special lottery public welfare fund of "poverty-stricken mothers and two cancers relief" were won, and 203 poor "two cancer" women were rescued. A total of 2194 primary and secondary school teachers, 59000 compulsory education degrees and 2478 large classes were added. 854 new public kindergartens and 19 public kindergartens have been established. The coverage rate of inclusive kindergartens has reached 76 percent.

He Jianxiang, Vice Mayor, pointed out that doing a good job in women's and children's work is the basic requirement for implementing the new ideas; is an important manifestation of social civilization; and is a powerful guarantee for promoting high-quality development. We should further improve our political position and enhance our sense of responsibility and mission; should adhere to the problem orientation, and strive to promote the implementation of key and difficult indicators. Women's and children's working committees and member units at all levels should take the completion of the planning objectives as the primary task of women and children's work at present. In view of the difficulties and weak links in the implementation of the plan, we should concentrate our efforts, strengthen measures and tackle the key problems one by one. We should adhere to the people's supremacy, always adhere to the Party's leadership, scientifically formulate a new round of planning, constantly improve the well-being of women and children, and strive to enhance the sense of gain and happiness of women and children.
