Review of First South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair

It was with fruitful results for the first South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair. Domestic and overseas merchants gathered here to discuss the businesses there and reached their agreements accordingly.

Besides the businesses, Chenzhou city’s capability to handle the exhibition issues and its beautiful and livable living condition were impressed all merchants with nice image of Chenzhou city.

Chenzhou city would summarize the experience of this fair to upgrade it as a successful exhibition brand of Chenzhou city and promote further improvement of the demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer.

Fruitful achievements of the fair

49 projects covering 61.48 billion yuan investment were signed on site of first South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair, 60.26 billion yuan of which was introduced outside. 20 ones, 15 ones and 14 ones were signed by Chenzhou city, Hengyang city, and Yongzhou city respectively. 27 of them are industrial manufacturing projects, 4 are energy and city infrastructure projects, 1 is agricultural industry project and 17 are modern service projects. All of those showed the great expectation of south Hunan area. 

Investment condition introduction & key project promotion conference for national demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer was one of the key activities of the fair. Focusing on south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer, the organizing committee of the fair selected 447 key projects accounted for 341.3 billion yuan to be promoted in the fair, covering infrastructure, electronic information, energy saving and environment protection, device manufacturing, ecological tourism, and etc.
The signed contracts were concerned for the high level projects. Such as the 3 billion yuan Hengyang Haijixing agricultural products commerce logistic park project and 2.5 billion yuan Hengyang Geely auto city project were introduced by Hengyang city; and Jiuheng barcode project and air energy water heater and laundry drier project were introduced by Yongzhou city.

Besides those, some more cooperation was under discussion during this period. Due to the“Trans-Hunan Province Trip of Oversea Association ” was handled out in Chenzhou city at the same time, more enterprises were attracted to visit the fair.

Colorful Chenzhou city

The first South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair was held independently by Chenzhou city. Besides to promote the development of south Hunan area, it helped to promote a colorful image of Chenzhou city to all merchants at home and abroad.

It was the first time for Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center to be placed into operation. All exhibitors highly appraised its sound function and were impressed with “Chenzhou speed” as well. All 11 counties and districts of Chenzhou city exhibited their unique “made in Chenzhou”products to attract the visitors’ eyes. At the meantime, some Yoga performance, folk songs performance, etc. were carried out accordingly to show Chenzhou local cultural features.

Summit Forum for Central China’s Undertaking Industrial Transfer Investment was especially good for all attendants get better understanding of the development trend of south Hunan area after listening to the speeches delivered by some honorable guests and Mayors of the three cities of south Hunan area. One of the key topics for this forum was “how to seize the chance of undertaking industrial transfer by demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer”.

During this three-day fair, merchants had a good communication with each other on different aspects to promote their future cooperation. Ye Hongbin- Vice-general Manager of China Sinotrans Group Hunan Branch expressed his willing to work further with Chenzhou city on logistic industry to decrease its logistic cost on the development of undertaking industrial transfer.

More motive force of development

The results mentioned above were just a part of this fair.

Many cadres, students and citizens were attracted to visit the exhibition and were proud to see the achievements of Chenzhou city. Zhu Yuanshan- Deputy Director and Laboratory Chief of Clinical and Translational Medical Science Center of Cornell University couldn’t help stopping expressing his proud after visiting the fair. Zhu said that he was surprised to find the fast development of Chenzhou city’s undertaking industrial transfer in recent years.

Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center was the exhibition site of this fair. Because at the beginning, it was little behind the time schedule to be finished on time, many people worried whether it could be ready for this fair. But with all the efforts of Chenzhou city’s leaders, cadres and the projects constructors, the center was fulfilled on time in a tense schedule. It showed the great determination of all Chenzhou people and cadres to fight for further development.

The first South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer Trade Fair closed now, but Chenzhou city would never stops its way to go further and meet higher targets. All three cities of south Hunan area- Chenzhou, Hengyang and Yongzhou city was ready for rising higher with win-win and common prosperity situation.
