An interview with professor Xie Chuntao- Director and Chief Editor of Central Party School Press Agency

“Chenzhou city is the old revolutionary base area. Its red resource is conductive to practice the mass line.”said professor Xie Chuntao- Director and Chief Editor of Central Party School Press Agency in an interview after delivering his special guidance lecture.

Xie was impressed with Chenzhou city’s clean city image, fresh air and high forest coverage. He said such good feeling was even stronger for he was just from Beijing city. 

Concerned for the advantages for Chenzhou city on practicing the mass line, Xie stated due to its outstanding performance in revolution period, Chenzhou city was with abundant red resources, such as source of South Hunan Uprising, birthplace of the three discipline and six notes, etc. All of these were helpful to handle the mass line educational practice there.

Chenzhou city is one of the second batch cities to carry out the mass line educational practice. What would be the key concerns? Xie said some people sacrificed their lives to support the Party in earlier stage, all the cadres should keep thinking about how to keep this sound situation. Xie also stated that the grassroots cadres communicated the people directly, only if they handled out the work well can the people say good for the Party. Every cadre must be with some weak points on carrying out the daily work, so all of them should keep improving the awareness to find the weak points and solve them accordingly. Along with their improvements, people would increase their satisfaction to the cadres accordingly.

Xie highly affirmed Chenzhou city’s working style rectification. He said working style was an eternal theme for the Party’s construction. Chenzhou city carried out a special way of practicing the mass line by handling this working style rectification. It should be kept to be a long term mechanism to play more useful roles in future.
