Qualitative Change- Chenzhou City’s Development Pattern Changes Rapidly
Recently, Chenzhou Education Bureau held a mobilization conference for practicing the mass line. It was purposely to mobilize and arrange the mass line educational practices on the subordinate education departments of Chenzhou city.
“People’s satisfaction should be kept as the highest standard for the education work. All staffs should try best to gain the support from the masses and take active response to the big concerns of the masses and solve them accordingly. All staffs should try best to meet the demands of students, parents, and society.” said Zhou Yuwu- Director of Chenzhou Education Bureau in the mobilization conference.
A feasible activity solution was figured out by the bureau on the basis of its practical condition. Some requirements were listed on the conference: first, the educational practices should be judged by the results of education reform, and more efforts should be tried on the development of connotation and upgrading of education to play best role on setting moral examples and cultivate more talents. Second, deepening class teaching reform and campus cultural construction should be promoted to form a special reform pattern with high efficiency and upgrade the schools’ connotation development. Third, some well-being projects concerned for education should be accelerated to promote the balance education development of Chenzhou city, especially on solving some key problems as crowded urban schools, weak education capacity of rural schools, hard and expensive entrance to kindergarten, etc. At the meantime, education reform should be promoted to try some ways first and gain more experience for Hunan provincial education reform. Meanwhile, teachers’capability should be upgraded accordingly. Forth, the administrative departments of education and schools should follow relative policies to receive people and enhance the construction of teacher’s ethics.
It was learned that Chenzhou Education Bureau carried out the educational practice with the concept of “combination with education practice, highlighting of education features and creation of education experience”in 2013. Deepening investigation and research were figured out by the bureau, which helped to make a sound preparation work to carry out the educational practice. First, leaders of the bureau visited some grassroots schools to collect local comments and suggestions on site. Second, some expanded conferences were held to discuss the details of implementation solution of educational practice. Third, enhanced working style rectification was carried out by the education system to improve the working style.
