Bailudong sub-district of Suxian district highlighted its attention on solving the most urgent concern of “live and work”to carry out the educational practice of the mass line. Till the early of this April, 500 families which relocated their houses got new lands to build their new houses with two different models. At the meantime, thousands of residents (villagers) of the sub-district found new jobs with the guidance of local government.

In order to solve the “live and work” concern of local people and save some land resources at the meantime, the sub-district government carried out different methods to promote the work. A concentrated co-construction model was handled out in Yangjiaping group, Bailudong village. 24 families which met the construction policies were guided to build their new houses in a vacant land together. 7 blocks would be constructed in this land. 4 families would build one block together and each would manage one floor, which called “4+1”model.

At the meantime, by seizing the chance of transformation from village to community, local government positively obtained more favorable policies on low-rent housing and affordable housing. Currently, some registration work was carried out there.

Furthermore, 200 qualified gardeners were cultivated by local sub-district. 3 landscape companies were established there. 50% of the employees who worked in the restaurants of Shiliuwan area were from Bailudong sub-district. 81 public service jobs were developed by the local government with an average salary of 1200yuan/month. The graduates who were willing to start their private business were capable to obtain interest-free loan with maximum amount of 80,000yuan.
