Introduction:

On June 23, 2017, the Provincial Economic and Information Commission issued a letter to formally approve Zixing Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park as Hunan Big Data Industrial Park, and will be granted a licence in the near future, becoming the first provincial big data industrial park approved.Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industry Park is located in the North Bank of Dongjiang Bay, Zixing City, with a planned total area of 4500 mu, which can accommodate 200,000 data racks, 5 million servers and more than 1,000 mobile Internet enterprises of 10 to 20 big data centers. The abundant and stable cold water and electric power resources, good location and ecological environment make Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park have comprehensive comparative advantages that can not be replicated elsewhere. Especially, the use of Dongjiang Lake cold water resources and the "natural water cooling technology" for big data center refrigeration, can make it the most energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly big data industrial park in China.

Basic information:

At present, the overall planning and power planning of the park, as well as 1500 mu of land "three connections and one leveling", 400G dedicated broadband into the park, road network, urban leisure park and other supporting infrastructure construction have been completed. Hunan Cloud Nest, Hunan Telecom, Network Technology, Maple Leaf Company, Inspur Group and other enterprises have entered the park, in which the 3000 racks of Hunan Cloud Nest and Hunan Telecom big data center project phase I were officially put into operation by the end of June, 2017.

In early 2017, Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park leadership group and management office were set up. The overall planning and electric power planning of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park have been completed.The largest data center in Hunan Province covers an area of 30 mu, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, 10,000 racks and annual sales revenue of 1 billion yuan. At present, Shenzhen Wangsu Science and Technology, Golden Eagle Cartoon, Taobao, Huawei, China Telecom and other 7 enterprises have entered, a total of 2700 servers. Environmental protection big data and big data practical talents training project has been selected and registered. The Venture Capital Building was built by Chenzhou Investment Management Center and started construction in 2018.

Problems:

The leading group and agencies of characteristic towns have not been set up to guide and implement the promotion work and no special town planning has been made.

The town will set up corresponding agencies as soon as possible to promote work, speed up the preparation of characteristic town planning, increase investment and promote the project landing as soon as possible.
