Healthy Town is a small town with "health" as its starting point and destination, health industry as its core, health, old-age care, leisure, tourism and other diversified functions integrated into a better ecological environment.

In recent years, Beihu District has made full use of the location advantages of Longnv hot spring to build a small town with health industry as the core, integrating health, health, pension, leisure, tourism and other diversified functions. At the same time, according to the consumption demand of tourists and residents, the town can also aggregate health convalescence, medical cosmetology, eco-tourism, leisure vacation, and other forms of business to achieve a large number of health-related consumer aggregation.

According to the relevant responsible person of the Beihu District Business Bureau, after the completion of the project, it will alleviate the problems of expensive convalescent and large demand for recuperation brought about by population and economic growth, gradually integrate and upgrade the industrial resources of medical, cultural, tourism, education and health, and promote the leap-forward development of Beihu District from a regional tourism destination to an international holiday destination.

The town has set up a leading group of district government leaders with development and reform, finance, tourism, civil affairs, health planning, commerce, Baifu Company and other units as members, and worked out a conceptual plan for the project. The total investment of the project is estimated to be 15 billion yuan. The municipal roads such as Longnv Commercial Avenue, Longnv Road and Liuyi Road Phase I within the planning scope have been completed, the supporting projects of Chenzhou Convention and Exhibition Hotel, Liuyi Villa, and Longnv Hot Spring and Diving Center have been put into operation, and the rehabilitation hospital of Chenzhou First People's Hospital is about to open. There are about 1100 mu of transferable construction land within the scope of the project planning. At present, about 450 mu of land has been recovered from the provincial government, among them, about 182 mu of land has been transferred but not implemented, and about 269 mu of land will be sold.

Problems:

As the main project of urban health tourism industry in our city with a long meaning and a high position, there is no successful experience to draw lessons from. The district hopes to introduce strong strategic investors for overall planning and layout, unified investment promotion and unified development and construction. On the selection of investors, the district strongly urges the municipal Party committee and the municipal government to give strong support.

Work plan and suggestions:

It is suggested to increase the intensity of project promotion and investment attraction, and create a rehabilitation convalescent, pension health, leisure and vacation in one of the town and the health demonstration base in Hunan Province.
