Introduction:

Oujiang Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Guidong County, Hunan Province. It has 36 villages and 4 community neighborhood committees, with a total area of 328.12 square kilometers and a total population of 68,100, which is the political, economic, cultural, commercial and trade center of Guidong County, with an elevation of 824 meters, ranking the highest in the province, known as the "Natural Air-conditioning City".

Basic information:

The town has set up a leading group and arranged special funds, which are responsible for the special staff members in charge of the leadership; has organized relevant staff to compile development plans and clear implementation steps. In 2017, the town arranged more than 20 projects around the characteristic towns,focused on promoting the construction of the southern, northern and western districts of the county town, improved infrastructure mainly focusing on the transformation of parking lots and shantytowns, and relying on ecological resources to create a town with health characteristics.

Problems:

The town level coordination is more difficult and funds are harder to win. The total economic volume is small with weak development foundation, and the external transportation is still a difficult point restricting development. Land index is limited, the declaration process is longer and more complex, and most of them can not be concluded in the county.

The town will strengthen the attracting investment work, actively implement the industrial chain attracting investment around the main industry, and promote the comprehensive competitive strength; will speed up the progress of the project's preliminary work, and strive for more projects to be included in the central and provincial PPP projects; will intensify policy research, speed up project packaging work and actively cooperate with investors in developed areas.
