After the hard working for more than three months, the streetscape regulation project for Liyujiang street,the south session of Zixing road was fulfilled on August 29, 2012. Now it takes on a completely new outlook.

In order to greet 2012 Hunan international tourism festival & 2nd Chenzhou international leisure tourism festival, Zixing city accelerated its construction on some important tourism projects. Liyujiang streetscape regulation project is one of these projects. It was learned that this project was designed by Chenzhou city planning designing institute on the principal of “being modern, concise, beautiful and graceful”. During the regulation process, measures such as reforming roofings, elevation spraying, repairing sections, covering air conditioners, regulating windows and doors, unifying colors, renewing the decoration parts, etc. were carried out for the project quality.

This project covers the part from Liyujiang Bridge in the south to Linhai Square in the north,with full length of 1.6kms. It is one of the key upgrading projects of Zixing city amountig to 4.80 million yuan investment and started in the middle of this May. During the regulation process, there were 2500 square meters of illegal buildings pulled down, 38000 square meters of wall clearly washed and painted, 1495 weldmesh screens installed, 746 external units of air conditioner removed, 842 air conditioner covers attached, 2800 square meters of store signs regulated, 3200 square meters of huge outdoor advertisement dismantled, and about 5200 meters of lines renovated.
