The training had the children really experience unique charm of Rucheng’s traditional folk culture in the form of indoor teaching with Fu Dexiong as the instructor, who is the city-level inheritor of the building skills of traditional ancestral halls.

To help the intangible cultural heritage of Rucheng County come alive, pass on, and go far, efforts have been made to integrate intangible cultural heritage projects with featured education through various forms such as characteristic classes, interactive experience and exchange performances to make students learn and enjoy the charm in interest groups and club activities through the deep cooperation with local schools.

This training activity not only promoted the integration of the ICH inheritance and school culture construction, but also improved students’ sense of national pride and cultural identity.
