The most adjacent area of Hunan is Chenzhou, which is located in the middle zone of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Group and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao City Group, the blending area of Hunan culture and Lingnan culture. It has a long history of economic and cultural exchanges with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It has rich natural resources, different climate ecology from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, relatively complete open platform, and even better traffic conditions than Guangdong. At the same time, Chenzhou, as the "bridgehead" and "South Gate" of Hunan's opening up to the south, and the "main battlefield" of the construction of new growth poles, should become the "pacesetter" of Hunan's opening up and docking with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

It has unique ecological advantages. Our city is rich in ecotourism resources. It is an indispensable ecological partner of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and has the advantage of promoting ecological cooperation and industrial cooperation.
On February 18, 2019, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the outline of the development plan of GBA and issued a notice, requiring all departments in all regions to implement it in combination with the actual situation. Chenzhou, as the South Gate of Hunan Province connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, has also brought new historical opportunities and challenges to the city's high-quality development.

With Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao as the target market, our city will vigorously promote the development of ecological planting industry, non resistant breeding industry, ecological agricultural product processing industry, leisure eco-tourism industry and ecological elderly care industry, strive to build a high-quality living circle in GBA, optimize business environment, embrace the GBA with the optimal ecological environment, and embrace investors at home and abroad with the optimal business environment.
