Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is composed of two special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao and nine Pearl River Delta cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province, with a total area of 56000 square kilometers and a total population of 70 million at the end of 2018. It is one of the regions with the highest degree of openness and the strongest economic vitality in China, and plays an important strategic role in the overall situation of national development.
