On December 12, Vice Governor Sui Zhongcheng and his delegation came to Chenzhou to investigate the construction of vegetable base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Sui Zhongcheng stressed that we should further strengthen the goal and task of "Xiangjiangyuan" vegetable industry development and build a number of high-quality agricultural product supply bases in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 
Sui Zhongcheng and his party successively went to the Shishangtou vegetable base of Beihu District, the Aoshang vegetable base and Shuiyuan vegetable base of Aoshang Town in Suxian District, China Supply and Marketing Chenzhou Agricultural and Sideline Products Wholesale Market in Beihu District and other places to investigate the development of vegetable base construction in our city. Sui had a detailed conversation with the relevant person in charge about the planting cost, output and income. He encouraged them to plant scientifically, improve the quality and output of vegetables, give full play to their creativity, establish their brands, strictly classify them, increase their added value, take the road of new agricultural development, and continue to increase the income level of local people.

Our city has attached great importance to the development of "Xiangjiangyuan" vegetable industry. This year, relevant plans were issued to clearly build a 10 billion vegetable industry, strengthen the support of industrial development funds, and scientifically plan the strategic layout of industrial development. At the same time, they actively connected with the construction of "vegetable basket" in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and reached a "four 2 million" cooperation agreement (Chenzhou supplies 2 million tons of vegetables, 2 million tons of fruits, 2 million pigs and 2 million jin of high-quality aquatic products) to the Greater Bay Area. They have made great efforts to strengthen the base, build brands and promote marketing, and achieved certain results in the development of vegetable industry.

Sui Zhongcheng presided over the symposium. At the meeting, Sui Zhongcheng affirmed the construction of Chenzhou vegetable base for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Sui stressed that we should take "Xiangjiangyuan" vegetables as a breakthrough point, build "Xiangjiangyuan" vegetable public brand jointly by Chenzhou, Yongzhou and Hengyang, lead the development of vegetable industry in the whole province, make the vegetable industry a pillar industry, and really develop from a big vegetable province to a strong vegetable province.

Sui Zhongcheng demanded that we should implement the relevant speech spirit of Du Jiahao, who is the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, unify the thinking and unswervingly focus on the agricultural production; should promote structural reform on the supply side of agriculture, constantly consolidate the foundation of vegetable industry, promote the construction of vegetable bases with high standards, and achieve high-quality development of agriculture. In accordance with the development idea of "one county, one special area, one group and one policy", we should focus on planning and leading, brand building, policy support, base construction, processing logistics, "ID card" management, investment attraction, production and marketing docking, base construction, etc.
