Dongjiang Lake Peculiar Stones Museum is one of the key exhibitions set for Sanxiangsishui Dongjiang Tourism Cultural Street which was key project for Hunan International Tourism Festival. The construction of this museum was launched in this June, covering over 6500 square meters and including five functions as science popularization education, exhibition, identification & appreciation, learning & training, and trade & auction. Over 10,000 rare stones and specimens of 300 species as ornamental stone, ancient fossil, agate & jade, mineral crystal, and etc. were collected by the museum. Besides the rare stones from Hunan province, some top level gems and treasures of the world and China were collected there as well.

Furthermore, a red culture exhibition hall where is with thousands of Chairman Mao’s badges and 16 countries’ and 6 minorities’ versions of quotations & works of Chairman Mao is set in the museum as well.

All the rare stones are exhibited scientifically in Dongjiang Lake Peculiar Stones Museum, which grants the visitors with the visual and cultural feast and with the concept of Sanxiangsishui. Dongjiang Lake Peculiar Stones Museum focuses on the integrated development of rare stone culture and tourism culture to provide the visitors with a rare stone cultural trip during their travelling.
