Quite different feelings for the reporters of the reporting team on this trip

After publishing the final manuscript for the visit of final stop- Jiahe county, the special report of “Trans-Chenzhou Ecology Trip & Establishment of National Forest City” was closed successfully.

During this month, the reporting team traveled about 2500kms to visit 11 districts and counties of Chenzhou City. Many excellent reports were issued after travelling around barren mountains, mines, water reservoirs, villages, and etc. for showing the great achievements of Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction.

“We worked hard, but it was worth it”

The reporting team did not just travel the downtowns of the districts and counties, they also visited the towns and villages to learn more details. So they needed to travel 3-4 villages and towns everyday on this trip. Such high density travel made the team members felt exhausted sometime.

Because of the poor living condition on travel, Li Jianhua who was one of the drivers of the reporting team lost 4kgs weight. When they arrived at Anren county, the temperature was just 6℃. Some heavy rains even interrupted the outdoor reporters’ interview plan. Though suffered with different difficulties, the team members still fought bravely to finish their work.

As said by Wang Zhuojun- one of the journalists from Chenzhou News Net, “we worked hard, but it was worth it”. She expressed her respect for all the workers of the forestry departments and frankly said that without attending this special reporting team, she would never learn the great efforts tried by all the grass-root works on Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction.

Though Cui Xia- one of the reporters of Chenzhou Daily felt uncomfortable after driving from the spiral roads of Guidong county to Huangcao town of Zixing city, she still resisted to finish the interview work.

12 manuscripts were issued on China Daily for this special report. Series TV reports about this special report of “Trans-Chenzhou Ecology Trip & Establishment of National Forest City” were broadcasted on Chenzhou News as well.

Though the special report was finished, Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction work was kept going on

The core theme for this special report of “Trans-Chenzhou Ecology Trip & Establishment of National Forest City” was to propaganda the new measures, new ideas and new experience of ecological civilization construction on different counties and districts of Chenzhou city. What is ecological civilization? Li Qunwei- the group leader of comprehensive group of Chenzhou Ecological Civilization Office and Chief Engineer of Chenzhou Forestry Bureau explained his understanding to the reporters. Li said, ecological civilization was a topper level for the social development, which concerned for all the details of daily life. It was a concept for respecting nature, following nature and protecting nature. Li also expressed his willing that the ecological civilization concept could be better understood by the people along with special report and more people would practice the ecological civilization concept on their daily life.

Because of the tight time schedule and high density interviews, most of the media of the reporting team arranged two groups of journalists to handle this work in return, but Li Zhao who was from Chenzhou Radio FM88.3 was the exclusive reporter finished the full-course of this trip. So Li got a comprehensive understanding on Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction. Li summarized with the letters of heavy responsibility for the ecological civilization construction after finishing the report. Li visited many demonstration villages and spots on this trip, and learned that people’s awareness of the ecological civilization construction was changed gradually. This awareness was the foundation for ecological civilization construction.

Li Dan- a reporter from Chenzhou News was impressed by the different ecological construction concept handled out by the counties and districts on their practical conditions. Huangs’ village was one of the key villages which became much more beautiful after handling the ecological construction.

Guo Liangting- a reporter from Chenzhou Daily expressed his higher expectation for Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction that he hoped the economy and society can be improved by handling the ecological civilization construction as well.

Huang Zhen- Producer of Chenzhou News said different development ideas of the counties and districts of Chenzhou city were showed along with the special report of “Trans-Chenzhou Ecology Trip & Establishment of National Forest City” and the different development views suitable for current condition were discussed during this trip as well. Huang believed that if keeping the green development concept, Chenzhou city would be upgraded greatly in future.
