Liuhuawam Village is close to Dongjiang Lake, a 5A Scenic Spot in Zixing City, and many self-driving tourists will choose to visit Liuhuawan Village after visiting Dongjiang Lake. Today, Liuhuawan Village holds Lotus Festival every year, launching multi-cultural experience tours, so that visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the joy of picking lotus at the same time. Liuhuawan Village, located in Sandu Town of Zixing City, was first built in Ming Dynasty with a history of more than 600 years, which is the most well-preserved ancient residential groups in Southern Hunan in Zixing City, and is also the carrier of Zixing red culture with a long history and profound cultural heritage. The whole building is situated in the north and facing the south. There are lotus ponds, rivers, ancient trees, stone arch bridges, small academies of Yuan's temple in the front of village, and wooden pillars and hanging-feet buildings at the end of the village. All houses have green bricks and black tiles, two-storey structure and four halls in the village. Each of the four halls has its own patio and there are delicate wood carvings at the entrance of the halls.

In the past, because of the blocked environment, Liuhuawan Village gradually collapsed, and most of the labor force in the village left to find a new way. In recent years, under the leadership of the village Party branch, villagers have made bold innovations, planted 100 mu of lotus, and vigorously developed tourism. Now, in the summer, the lotus blossoms compete with each other, reflecting the old buildings with simple vicissitudes of life, attracting countless tourists to enjoy the lotus vacation, and changing the poverty situation of that year.
