In the opening ceremony of China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo, winners of “top ten places for Hunan rural travel” were issued with awards

Different kinds of high level tourism products and characteristic landscapes and culture are available in the expo. As you can see from above image, He Baoxiang (right in first row) –Deputy Governor of Hunan Province and some other leaders were visiting the expo. 

Chenzhou city looks like a landscape painting in September, especially in the little rainy day. In the morning of September 19, 2014, under such kind of poetry atmosphere, 2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo was opened in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

He Baoxiang–Deputy Governor of Hunan Province announced the opening of the expo. Xiong Fangping- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Government Office, Zhang Zhiheng- Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Liu Wenjie- Deputy Minister of Hunan Finance Department, Huang Fang- Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Gao Yangxian- Deputy Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau, Guo Guquan- Discipline-team Leader of Hunan Tourism Bureau, Shu Nan- Director of Zhongnan Media, Secretary of Rednet Party Committee, Chairman and General Manager of Rednet and some other leaders attended the opening ceremony. Qu Hai- Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the opening ceremony.

This expo was followed the theme of “Splendid Xiaoxiang, leisure Chenzhou”. 20 specials stands of Hunan province, and cities and autonomous prefectures of Hunan province, and 300 standard stands of tourism enterprises were set in the 30,000 square meters exhibition zone. Food, accommodation, transportation, travelling, shipping, entertainment, information and other aspects of tourism industry which were concerned for people’s daily life were covered into the expo.

“Compared with earlier expos, this expo is with bigger range, larger scale, more theme activities and stronger regional linkage,” stated by Zhang Zhiheng on his speech delivered in the opening ceremony, “it would be a tourism feast which can fully meet the demands of different visitors and reach great achievements with extensive influences.”

It was learned that the featured development of rural travel was highlighted on this expo that the rural travel pavilion was set in this expo. In the opening ceremony, the prize-awarding ceremonies for “top ten places of Hunan rural travel” of “most beautiful village, happy leisure time” and 2014 “Shaping Hunan embroidery cup” China Hunan tourism products contest were carried out as well.

Travelling over Hunan province with fun

“Only the delicious foods and funny activities can attract visitors’ eyes,” said Gao Yangxian, “it was not just the presentation of products for the expo, more theme activities combined together with tourism culture should be handled out in the stands to attract the citizens.”

Once the opening ceremony finished, thousands of visitors entered the 30,000square meters big center. Zhangjiajie’s peaks with various grotesque and exotic shape, Langshan mountain’s Danxia landform, Xiangxi area’s Tujia minority folk culture, Changde city’s peach blossom, and different features of different cities and autonomous prefectures of Hunan province were presented to the visitors.

Besides those, gyotaku of Song Dynasty, Wushu, juggling, cartons, and various performances were operated in different stands that attracted many visitors. After visiting the special snacks stands, visitors can move to outdoor stands to enjoy the funs of outdoor devices and other interesting products. Thanks to the various exhibition products shown in the expo, visitors can travel over Hunan province in the center.
