It was reported that 2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo (short for “Tourism Industry Expo”) would be opened on September 19, 2014 in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. In the morning of September 18, 2014, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City, and Gao Yangxian- Deputy Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau led an investigation team to check the preparation work of this expo. Xiang emphasized that high efficient operation, high level service and safety work should be handled during this expo period to hold the expo to be the most splendid, efficient and influencing grand meeting.
2014 China Hunan Tourism Industry Expo which was with the theme of “Splendid Xiaoxiang, leisure Chenzhou” would be held in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from Sep. 19-21, 2014. When the investigation team arrived at the center, workers were busy in finishing the final preparing work. Some special and standard stands were set in the exhibition center. Special stands are mainly used for the theme image exhibitions of Hunan province, cities and districts, including theme pavilion of Hunan province, Chenzhou city and other cities and autonomous prefectures of Hunan province , and theme pavilions for the 11 counties and districts of Chenzhou city. The standard stands are mainly used for the exhibition of tourism enterprises and products, including the classic travel route in Hunan province, special tourism products for the travel abroad or inside and outside of Hunan province, and etc.
“Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center was located in a place with sound atmosphere and convenient transportation. Chenzhou city’s tourism industry is with solid development foundation. We are confident that it would be helpful to promote and popularize the tourism resources of Hunan province and Chenzhou city and even promote the development of Hunan provincial tourism industry by this expo.”Gao Yangxian highly affirmed the preparation work handled out by Chenzhou city on this investigation trip.
Xiang Lili and Qu Hai highly appreciated all the guidance and supports on the development of Chenzhou city’s tourism industry which were placed by Hunan Tourism Bureau. Xiang stated that it was a good chance to propaganda the achievements on the development of tourism industry gained by Hunan province and Chenzhou city and a good chance to fully show the image of Chenzhou city by holding this expo. Till now, all the preparing work was almost finished and was ready for the opening ceremony.
Xiang required that all the work should be operated with high efficiency. Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and other relative subordinate departments should try all efforts to support the preparation work and ensure all work to be fulfilled with high efficiency in a short time. High quality service should be provided for this expo to ensure all the guests and visitors to be served with best service. Good safety work should be handled for fire fighting, food, transportation, exhibition products, and all other details, especially for the checking of safety risk to avoid safety accident. The substantial results should be gained by holding this expo, such as popularizing Chenzhou city’s tourism brands, upgrading the development level of Chenzhou city’s tourism industry, obtaining the economic and social efficiency and long term and short term efficiency.
Qu Hai stated that all the departments should seize the chance of holding this expo to propaganda and promote the tourism resources of Chenzhou city and the tourism industry and products of Chenzhou city. All the preparing work should be organized well to fulfill it with high standard and quality to show the good images of 11 counties and districts of Chenzhou city and the enterprises of Chenzhou city. All details should be checked out to provide the expo with best quality service. It was purposely to fulfill the expo with Chenzhou city’s features and promote the development Chenzhou city’s exhibition industry.
