On July 25, the selection press conference of my favorite "Top 10 beautiful towns", "Top 10 beautiful villages", "Top 10 famous brands of agricultural products", "Top 10 marked agricultural leading enterprises", "Top 10 demonstrative leisure farms" and "Top 10 tourist destinations" in Chenzhou was held in the municipal government press conference room.

The selection activities were co-sponsored by the CPC Chenzhou municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, Chenzhou Agricultural Committee (CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee of Rural Work Office), and Chenzhou Tourism Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau and will select the "Top 10 beautiful towns, Top 10 beautiful villages, Top 10 famous brands of agricultural products, Top 10 marked agricultural leading enterprises, Top 10 demonstrative leisure farms and Top 10 tourist destinations" in Chenzhou with high social popularity, great influence and Chenzhou characteristics through the "Internet + publicity" action to develop the features and highlights of "three rural issues" in our city, fully display the results of Chenzhou tourism destination construction, accelerate the development and utilization of agricultural products and tourism resources and boost Chenzhou's economic development.

It was reported that the selection objects are the beautiful towns, beautiful villages, famous brands of agricultural products, marked agricultural leading enterprises, demonstrative leisure farms, and all grades of tourist attractions (spots), rural tourism areas (points), and industrial and agricultural tourism demonstration sites in Chenzhou with best construction effect, best development and highest mass evaluation.

The selection activities adopt the application recommendation, the public assessment, the expert assessment and the online voting. The whole selection process has 6 steps, namely, the counties and cities organize the registration from late July to late August; announce the candidate lists in the municipal medias at the end of August; collect the public judges to the public in mid-September; carry out the online voting from mid-September to early October; the public judges vote in mid-October; the expert judges vote and announce the final selection results in late October.

At the end of October, my favorite "Top Ten tourist destination" award will be presented in 2017 Hunan Chenzhou Red Tourism Culture Festival (and make a supplement in accordance with the relevant policies and regulations); my favorite "Top 10 beautiful towns, Top 10 beautiful villages, Top 10 famous brands of agricultural products, Top 10 marked agricultural leading enterprises, and Top 10 demonstrative leisure farms" awards will be presented in the 3rd Hunan (Chenzhou) Special Agricultural Products Expo (and make a supplement in accordance with the relevant policies and regulations) in December.

The selection activities cover 32 civilized towns above the municipal level (2012-2016), 14 beautiful towns above the municipal level, 184 beautiful villages above the municipal level, 66 famous agricultural brands above the provincial level, 1840 leisure farms, 206 agricultural industrialization leading enterprises above the municipal level, and more than 110 scenic spots in the whole city. At the same time, the activities will use the WeChat, Micro-Blog, website and mobile application clients and form the netizen interaction to increase the propagation speed. Every award winner will gain the 50,000-100,000 reward to further promote the development and utilization of Chenzhou agricultural and tourism resources, and further display the beautiful image of Chenzhou.
